New Honda Cars for Sale in Austin TX

Honda announced that 94% of their total 2013 lineup will be offering the rear-view camera standard, leaving very few vehicles without it. The 2012 Honda CR-V already offers it as a standard feature and 100% of the 2013 Honda truck lineup will come standard with the rear-view camera. Every 2013 CR-V, Crosstour, Odyssey, Pilot, and Ridgeline will have this safety feature.

“At Honda, we feel that this visibility feature will be important to many families and we’re widely applying it even before we may be required to do so. In addition to the wide application of the rear-view camera technology, Honda is also introducing several new features for enhanced driver safety, visibility and security in model-year 2013,” said Vicki Poponi, American Honda’s Assistant VP of Product Planning.

Moreover, Honda is also adding Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning systems as optional safety features. These two warning technologies will make their debuts on both the 2013 Honda Accord and the 2013 Honda Crosstour.

You can expect one of two powertrains under the hood of the new 2013 Crosstour.
1. A 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine paired to a five-speed automatic transmission will come as the standard option.
2. A 3.5-liter V6 engine that is outfitted to a six-speed automatic transmission for thosewanting a little more power. 

As for the interior of the new Crosstour, not much has been discussed. We do know that some of the new features are; higher-quality materials, 8-inch color display entertainment system and keyless ignition.

The new 2013 Honda Crosstour won’t be available until later this fall.

They were sunny days down in Palm Beach, Florida those first days of March. Spectators and news cameras from all over the world gathered at the PGA National Resort & Spa to watch some of the greatest golf players battle it out at The Honda Classic.

Anyone who’s anyone in the world of golf was there; from Darren Clarke to Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy, they made the journey from their home country to play this famous golf tournament.

During the four days of The Honda Classic (March 1^st through the 4^th), brand new 2012 Hondas were used as courtesy cars to transport the likes of Tiger Woods, Kenny G (who performed a benefit concert and was also the host of the event), and a myriad of golfing royalty.

Now, what happened to all of these new Honda cars once the golf tournament was over? Did they drive off into the sunset never to be seen again? Did they get eaten by the famous alligators of Florida? None of the above my dear friend.

Over a dozen of these courtesy cars made the trek all the way down to Austin, Texas. As if they were part of a high school marching band, sixteen 2012 Honda Accords marched (or drove) into the Howdy Honda used car parking lot and found their temporary home.
